Autumn Gardens
Autumn finds the gardens still full of colour and scent and butterflies linger on the Michaelmas daisies and sedum. Warm sunshine brings out the colours of the autumn flowers and the garden begins to fill with the scent and colour of ripe fruit and berries. The heritage apples are rosy, along the wall.
The garden draws birds to feast on the ripening seed heads in the beds and borders. Soon the first frosts will turn these same seeds into an icy lacework.
